Platinum Preschool - Randwick is a private, 70 place Long Day Care service. The Pre School is licensed by the Department of Education & Communities and is overseen by the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
The Preschool consists of 70 places for children aged 2-5 years. The aim of Platinum Pre School is to provide a quality service that meets the needs of the families in our community. It is in our best interest to work in collaboration with parents in the care and education of their children at the most important stage of their development - the early years. We welcome parent participation and involvement in the Preschool. Please note that any parent involvement within our learning program will need to be supported by the Parents having a ‘Working With Children’s Check’ and ‘Child Protection’ inservice completed.
Hours of Operation:
Opening Hours: 7.30am to 5.30pm. This is made up of:
7.30am – 8.45am Arrival and Educational Activities
8.45am – 2.30pm Education Programmes
2.30pm – 5.30pm Pick up and Educational Activities.
The preschool is open for forty-eight weeks per year, closing for one month over the Christmas/New Year period, and on public holidays.
The Centre closes at 5.30 pm each evening. We suggest family members arrive at least 15 minutes earlier than 5.30 pm. This allows time to collect your child and talk with staff about your child’s day.
Platinum provides first class quality care and education for our students.
Our programs are designed for your child’s needs.
At Platinum we believe in allowing the children's interests to guide the enriching programs that we run.
We provide a range of high quality educational programs, which support our commitment to the wholesome development of the individual child.
There is a focus on Creative Arts where the children are encouraged to express themselves through Music, Dance, Drama and Visual Arts to unlock their avenues for imagination.
Our students will feel valued and safe whilst being nourished with love and care.
We have a strong focus on School Readiness and School Transition for both the Student and the Parents
We use the Early Years Learning Framework throughout our centre.
We acknowledge each child is unique and aim to provide an environment where children’s eagerness and curiosity is fostered; creative thinking is encouraged; where children can make choices and are allowed time to reflect and explore, encouraging their sense of self.
